To take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather last weekend, my friend, her daughter, and I hiked to the nearby peak of Velin Del. It was a beautiful view.A pity the hizha (a place for hikers/campers to stay), is in such bad shape. It was built less than 30 years ago, but is now more or less unusable for recreation.
